HANA JOO drew inspiration for her work from Kant's concept of 'disinterested interest.' This notion encourages a perspective that she believes resonates well with UX/UI designers. Upholding this view in our approach to users is essential for enhancing their experiences, as it fosters a genuine and unbiased focus on their needs and preferences.
HANA JOO is a UX/UI designer originally from South Korea. She holds an impressive trio of bachelor's degrees in Philosophy, Korean language and literature, and visual communication design. Her journey led her to the United States, where she is currently pursuing a master's degree at Parsons.
Before coming here, she worked as a UX/UI designer and planner for a dental software company, amassing two and a half years of valuable experience. Additionally, she extended her talents as a design tutor and worked as a freelancer specializing in book covers and editorial design.
In her free time, you might find her exploring the world of VR games, a digital adventure she thoroughly enjoys.
